The MGM Grand is the strip's hotel and casino of superlatives. It is the largest casino in Clark County, so bring your time, chips and plenty of luck if you plan to stay there. When it opened, it was the largest hotel in the world. Although it no longer holds this title, it still maintains its status as the largest hotel resort complex in the United States. Not bad! So, if the MGM is your choice, you're in for numerous spas, waterfalls, pools, shops, nightclubs and restaurants- AKA nonstop fun.

The stunning black pyramid that everyone sees on the Las Vegas strip is indeed the Luxor. Named after Ancient Egypt's city of Luxor, the pyramid tower design is an ironic contrast in its modernity. Nonetheless, the Luxor is your ticket to everything Vegas, from spas and pools (there are four large ones), shopping stores (there are 29 of these), and even a wedding chapel. You've also got five different shows to choose from such as Criss Angel's or Carrot Top's comedic act.

Mandalay Bay's exterior derives its stunning colors from the gold leaves used on its windows during construction. The shows at this hotel and resort have always been high quality, including Mamma Mia!, Cirque du Soleil, and the House of Blues. This is an excellent place to go when the weather is extra hot, as Mandalay has gone to great lengths to provide its guests with plenty of options for staying cool. There's Mandalay Beach, for starters, which includes a wave pool and a European-style pool called Moorea. If you're not feeling the water scene, head to the Shark Reef Aquarium, featuring its tunnel-shaped walk-throughs and a stingray petting area.

There is no need to worry about transportation to your day of fun at this hotel and resort, as this Polynesian-themed venue has a free tram that takes guests to the Treasure Island Hotel and Casino. The Mirage offers a more eclectic collection of attractions, including Siegfried and Roy's Secret Garden and Dolphin Habitat, the LOVE production (featuring remixes of the Beatles), the "Bare" poolside lounge, and an artificial volcano that erupts nightly.
